Marian Hernandez

Marian Hernández earned her degree in Business Administration and Management in June 2002 and completed a Postgraduate degree in Advanced Accounting in June 2007, both at the University of Alicante. Throughout her university years, she combined her studies with volunteer work at the Association for the Mentally Disabled (UPAPSA) and tutoring mathematics for BUP and COU students.
In October 2002, she began her professional career by joining BONNYSA, a fruit and vegetable company, in the Export Commercial Department. Working directly with the company’s General Management, she initially handled the review and validation of customer product claims and later took on the responsibility of distributing and classifying products by color, variety, category, and shelf life through an IT system that directly managed warehouse packaging lines.
After two years of learning valuable discipline and work methodologies, she decided to move on to a new professional challenge at ZAFIRO TOURS SA, a travel agency franchise, in the Administration Department as an Accountant, feeling that this was where her professional interests lay. In January 2005, she began her journey in Financial Accounting and remained there until November 2008, when she was offered the position of Head of Accounting and Finance at TOMATES LIS. This opportunity allowed her to expand her financial expertise in an industry and product she was already familiar with. Those years were filled with significant learning, particularly in the professionalization of her role, deepening her knowledge in Financial and Cost Accounting, and sharing economic data with the Board of Directors.
In 2014, she returned to Zafiro Tours as Head of Accounting and Finance, going back to a place she always considered home, applying all the knowledge she had gained over the years. She remained there until 2022, when she embarked on a new chapter at Softwariza 3, Clave Informática, and now Business Software Group.
Looking to the future, she seeks opportunities to continue learning and evolving, refusing to be confined to a single role.
